Our journey begins from the Kathmandu valley taking in the stunning sights and alluring sounds it boasts off. Through the winding bends of Prithvi Highway, we head towards Soti Khola for our first day on the go. Making our way through lush green forests we trek to Machha Khola before continuing on the forested trail heading towards the hamlet of Jagat. The administrative and economic center is a well-known one amongst trekkers and adventurers journeying in and out of the Annapurna Region. Heading out of Jagat accompanied by the stunning Hilly landscapes adorned with the occasional Himalayas peeking over the horizon, we reach Deng and then onto Namrung. Samagaon is our next stop for the day which is also the final settlement before we reach Manaslu Base Camp at 4400m. Avoiding the high mountain passes leading over to the other end of the valley we begin our way back home through the familiar bends of Jagat heading down to Machha Khola and then eventually onto Arughat where the journey comes to an end. The journey takes us the right to the heart of the local settlements deep within the Manaslu Conservation Area where the pristine Himalayan ecosystem has been preserved for decades. Showing more resemblance to the Tibetan side than Nepal the local people exhibit unique cultures and way of life guided by the sects of Buddhism and preserved carefully for centuries.
We, here at Nepal Ascent Treks, love the off-the-beaten experience as much as you do. Virgin trails heading to the less explored region are what sparks the desire to travel and we count ourselves fortunate in sharing this adventure alongside you. Come with us to the Himalayas and we will make sure your adventure will be a memorable one.
